Today Ira is making our Clearer Skin bar soap. A best-seller, this soap is not only great in the shower but makes a beautiful face wash and can even be used for shaving due to its thick luscious foaming action.
Three major components of our soap are Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Palm Oil. Many concerned soap makers have attempted to formulate a blend that will replace the use of palm oil. And while some have been semi-successful, the fact remains that palm oil works best for producing a hard soap that will not dissolve in a damp environment. We source all of our ingredients, including Palm Oil, from ethical farms and plantations that do not contribute to deforestation and habitat loss.
Olive oil is one of the closest oils to our skin’s natural sebum. Adding this to our soaps creates an incredibly moisturizing bar…but does not produce much lather. Enter coconut oil…
In coconut oil we find the perfect ingredient to help deliver the beautiful lather of bubbly suds all those whose love our soaps have grown accustomed. It's cleansing properties are amazing, and it is one of the few oils that produce a cleanser that will even lather in saltwater! Furthermore, coconut oil is wonderfully moisturizing and aids in creating a barrier to protect the skin from the elements.
Along with essential oils of Lavender, Geranium, Rosemary, Palmarosa, Maychang, Benzoin, and Cedarwood, we add oat bran, willow bark, Benzoin powder.

I love this soap since day one. A year ago I went to a organic store and the woman told me to try this soap for my whole body (head to toe) and I did. Let’s just say I been using this soap for a year now and my skin is great! Even my husband uses it!
