Wyndmere Balancing Wool Dryer Balls

  • 2 min read

25% off holiday discount on Balancing Synergistic blend 100% pure essential oils

Balancing is a beautifully tranquil and grounding synergistic blend. With pure essential oils of Patchouli, Lavender, Elemi, Lemon, Orange, and Clary Sage, it creates a super fresh aroma. We just can’t get enough!

When you add this blend to your wool dryer balls, the calming and earthy aroma is left behind to be enjoyed on your fresh linens and clothing.

To make your dryer balls the only thing really needed is a bottle of Balancing and yarn. More specifically a 100% wool yarn, not the washer- and dryer-safe kind. The kind of wool that will shrink. A worsting wool to be the most specific. You can get this yarn at thrift stores, just make sure they have a label verifying that it is going to do the job. Otherwise, you can go to your local craft store or buy online. We used Patons Classic Roving Wool.

Simply roll into balls. One skein should equal about two balls (three if you make smaller ones). Roll and wrap until you hit your desired size.

Place balls into pantyhose, tying a knot between each ball securely.

Now all you do is toss this into the washing machine. You can choose to do this with a load of clothes if you don’t want to waste a wash, but this should be washed on HOT (I mean HOT!).  Then put them in the dryer and let them dry ALL THE WAY.

You can do this step again, just to make sure everything is felting correctly. We did, and we’re glad we did!

Now, you just cut them loose and set them free. Add 10-15 drops of Balancing synergistic blend and ENJOY!
