• Day Six - A Gift for Traveling

Travel Companion

Uffda! Holiday travel season is here! Whether you or your loved ones are traveling by plane, train, or automobile, we have great ideas on how to elevate your traveling experience. For refreshing hotel rooms, musty former childhood bedrooms, or even your grandma’s couch, we’ve got a solution. Got anxiety? We have a tool for that. Have a long road trip ahead…we just so happen to have a solution for that too. The following three recipes are simple and customizable for the unique traveler in your life (or for yourself)!

A revitalizing room spray can be made using only a few simple ingredients.  Fill a 2oz PET mist bottle with 3/4 parts water, 1/4 part vodka (optional), and 10-15 drops of our Travel Companion synergistic blend.  This can be sprayed to freshen up a room and re-invigorate after a long trip. Add a ribbon and a customized label and make it a stocking stuffer.

For the anxious traveler, try a calming roll-on.  Simply add 3 drops Orange, 2 drops Lavender, and 1 drop Ylang Ylang to a roll-on bottle and top off with Fractionated Coconut Oil.  Add a customized label for a personal touch!

Is someone you know taking a long road trip over the holidays?  Make them an energizing and personalized inhaler to take with them as a pick-me-up.  Add five drops of Refreshing synergistic blend (or your favorite uplifting essential oil) to the wick of an inhaler and twist to seal.  We also like Mint & Rosemary to fight away that late afternoon drowsiness.  All you need to do is untwist the cap and inhale for a mental boost!
