Not everyone is blessed with perfect skin that moves through the seasons unblemished and unbothered. For many of us, seasonal changes mean changes in our beauty routines. The very first switch-up for us is always our choice of facial mask. We love a simple pink and rhassoul clay mask because of how gentle and effective it is on all skin types AND how you can really personalize this mask simply by what you choose to add as your “wet ingredient.”
Our choice of the moment is a combination of 5 drops Frankincense & 10 drops German Chamomile with 1 teaspoon of aloe vera…capped off with water in a 1 oz mister bottle!
To make the clay mask, mix pink and rhassoul clays in an airtight jar in a 2 to 1 ratio. That is it. This mask will store in powder form for a long time, and you can simply measure it out and add your wet ingredients of the moment as you go! To apply mix desired amount with water and EO mixture till you get a nice consistency and spread evenly onto skin. You can use this as a spot treatment, on just your t-zone, your entire face…or you can go crazy and apply down your neck to your chest! We love to use a brush to apply, but you can use your fingers too. Just be careful; the clay in this mask can stain!
A mask for anyone and everyone, we’ve applied this mask with our best friends, husbands, sons, and daughters. Why not? Everyone deserves a bit of self care!
