Day Eight - Frankincense & Myrrh Bath Salt Recipe

 

We love simple #diys and anything that promotes mindfulness and a calm state of mind. Day 8 brings you both with a bath soak using our Frankincense & Myrrh synergistic blend. Here is what you will need!
-1.5# Wyndmere Unscented Bath Salt
-1/4 cup Viva Naturals MCT oil
-1/4 cup dried Lavender flowers
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir thoroughly. Once done, simply pour into a jar and decorate! We used recycled grocery bags and a marker to decorate and tied off with some yarn!
The number of jars this makes will depend on the size jars you use. Typically three large 8oz jars or six 4oz jars.
Or if you prefer to make your own meditative blend of essential oils for this recipe, play around with the following two combinations of oils to create the scent most soothing and calming to you.
Grounding blend - Sandalwood or Patchouli, Frankincense, and Bergamot
Relaxing blend - Lavender or Clary Sage, Cedarwood, and Bergamot
Use 40 drops total in place of the Frankincense & Myrrh blend in the recipe above to make a bath soak perfectly for gifting.  By making your own blend of essential oils, you can customize the recipe to gift to the yogis in your life!
