Eucalyptus | Eucalyptus Radiata | Eucalyptus Lemon

  • 2 min read

Did you know that we carry THREE different types of Eucalyptus here at Wyndmere Naturals? Though similar, they are not an “if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all” type of deal - all three are different in their aromas, benefits, and contrasting uses! Read more below.

Eucalyptus

This sharp camphor-smelling oil has a fresh and purifying action, making it good to use as a room spray. Its invigorating, penetrating, and cleansing qualities make this one of the more popular oils. Eucalyptus is one of the best essential oils for diffusing. It helps support healthy immune and respiratory systems, clearing congestion, relieving sinus pressure, and lessening headache pain. Eucalyptus is commonly used to help relieve allergy symptoms as well. Eucalyptus is energizing and mentally invigorating while also stress-reducing. It has been commonly used to increase circulation and relieve sore muscles.

Eucalyptus Radiata

Eucalyptus radiata essential oil is favored for a more subtle camphor aroma than Eucalyptus globulus. It helps support healthy immune and respiratory systems, clearing sinuses, relieving sinus pressure, and reducing headaches. Eucalyptus radiata is a general tonic that can help with mental exhaustion, muscle aches, and abdominal or menstrual cramping.

Eucalyptus Lemon

Eucalyptus Lemon (Eucalyptus citriodora) is remarkable for its lemony, citronella-like fragrance. Also known as Lemon Eucalyptus, this essential oil is traditionally used to help support a healthy immune system and for upper respiratory health. It is a powerful deodorant and can be added to household cleaners, soaps, and detergents to help disinfect. Studies have shown that Eucalyptus citriodora is very effective in deterring insects. It has also traditionally been used for minor muscular aches and soreness as well as fungal skin conditions.
