Island Dreams Essential Oil Lip Sleeping Mask

What is a Lip Sleeping Mask? Simply put, it’s a super hydrating balm that gives a bigger moisture punch than most other lip balms! Today’s DIY is an Island Dream come true and we are so excited to share it with you.

You don’t want your lip mask to be too thick, and waxy is definitely not the name of the game. You want your Sleeping Mask to melt and sink right into your lips. No sticky business here, but it should create a layer on your lips that stays put while you slumber.

We’ve been using this product whenever we feel like our lips are somewhat dry, some of us have even added this one to our nightly skincare routine. But hey, don’t think this has to be reserved for only night time. Essentially this is just a super-intensive balm that can be used at all times. It even works well under lipstick!

Revel in the deliciousness that is an Island Dream in a jar! With aloe, coconut oil, papaya powder and packed with nutrient-dense citrus essential oils, this is one DIY you are not going to want to pass by…as a matter of fact you may even want to make a double batch to start!

Say goodbye to dry and cracked lips and hello to ISLAND DREAMS! One use and you’ll be hooked!

Here’s what you’ll need…

4 Tbs Aloe Vera Gel

1 Tbs Coconut Oil

1/2 tsp Papaya Powder (optional)

3 drops Mandarin EO

3 drops Orange EO

3 drops Grapefruit EO

3 drops Lemon EO

1 drop Lime EO

Simply whip together in a small bowl and place in an airtight jar. If using papaya powder, warm the coconut oil and mix the powder with the warm oil. Let cool before adding other ingredients.

Enjoy!
