DIYs don’t have to be complex to be effective. You don’t have to make everything yourself from the ground up. Our hydrosols are a great starting point for anyone, experienced or not, when looking to customize a face and body mist.
Hydrosols have similar properties to the corresponding essential oils but are less concentrated. So unlike our essential oils that should be diluted before application, hydrosols are much gentler and can generally be used directly on the skin. The aroma of the hydrosol can be softer and more subtle than that of the essential oil and may also smell more herbal since hydrosols have the water-soluble constituents not found in the essential oil.
When it comes to skincare, nothing quite beats the healing benefits of Immortelle. It has intensive regenerative compounds that promote healthy skin cell growth. Basically you want to put this EO all over your skin allowing it to blanket you in its plant magic.
Lime just might be one of our favorite EOs with its fresh scent and its ability to be mentally uplifting and refreshing. A noteworthy fact about our Lime essential oil is that it is steam distilled, so unlike cold pressed Lime, it is not phototoxic. Therefore, you can feel free to add it to lotions, balms, and other body products without worrying about sun exposure!
Today’s DIY starts with a 4 oz. bottle of our Neroli Hydrosol. Simply add a tablespoon of Aloe Vera, 15 drops Immortelle, and 5 drops Lime essential oils…and that's it.
Make sure to shake the bottle before each use.
