Orange & Ylang Ylang Cuticle Rescue Cream

  • 2 min read
DIY nail and cuticle moistsurizer with Ylang Ylang, Orange, and Carrot Seed essential oils
Dry hands and nails don’t have to be a “winter thing.” Avoid cracked cuticles and keep your fingertips looking fresh with our DIY cuticle rescue recipe. We love the way the Ylang Ylang and Orange play off of each other, the two are truly a match made in heaven. What a great way to use aromatherapy to get a pick-me-up during these cold, dark months AND keep your nails and cuticles moisturized! It’s a two for one!
Ylang Ylang is an intoxicating floral scent used for generations as a perfume.  It can help fight fatigue and get you motivated. Ylang Ylang also helps calm while bringing you to a meditative state…but we especially love the way it nourishes and softens dry skin, helping it to feel rejuvenated and new.
Orange is an all-time favorite EO that has been used for centuries for its ability to boost your mood while reducing anxiety. A bright top note widely known for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities, Orange has even been rumored to fight signs of aging making it the ideal addition to this recipe.
Carrot Seed is used extensively in natural skin care products because of its antioxidant properties.  It can help moisturize the skin and improve elasticity, and can even help soothe minor aches caused by rheumatism and arthritis.  And it does all this while easing stress and anxiety!
