Coffee absolute diy lip scrub recipe

Winter can be rough. The winds have been whipping here in Minnesota which means we are ramping up our efforts to combat dry winter skin. Lips seem to take winter the hardest and are the first to show signs that more moisture is needed in our daily routines.

This ULTIMATE winter lip scrub with our Coffee Absolute is a great way to exfoliate and will leave your lips feeling soft and supple!

DIY coffee absolute lip scrub          


Ingredients needed:     DIY coffee absolute lip scrub      

1/4 cup sugar
2 T melted coconut oil.                       
1 T cocoa butter
1 T Sweet Almond Oil
2 T finely ground coffee
30 drops Coffee Absolute in Jojoba

 To Make:

  1. Melt cocoa butter and coconut oil in a double boiler. Remove from heat once ingredients fully melt and add ground coffee and almond oil.
  2. Once the mixture has cooled a bit more (not hardened) add the Coffee Absolute and sugar, making sure to combine completely!
  3. DONE. Spoon into jars of choice and use as needed to fend off chapped dry lips! Simply rub into lips, massaging away unwanted dead skin & wipe off with a towel - you’ll feel the difference immediately!
